Les Gourgoules 2017: 91+ points

Like the other wines from this fine estate, [Les Gourgoules is] aged in concrete vats, which seem to help retain some of the region’s garrigue-like notes. In this medium to full-bodied cuvée, the Syrah stands out for its violet aromas and hints of liquorice, while the other varieties seem to fill in around its structural core, adding notes of berries and cola.

Classique red 2017: 91 points

… hints of garrigue, black cherries and raspberries on the nose… savory components of black olives and roasted meat on the palate, plus a velvety finish. Nicely done!

Cara de Caraguilhes 2018: 91 points

… notes of crushed stone, strawberries and raspberries… medium-bodied, with refreshing lime flavors on the long finish.

Classique rosé 2018: 90 points

Aromas of crushed stone and forward fruit – think  strawberries and raspberries – lead into a flavorful, medium-bodies palate that’s capped off by a refreshing blast of lime on the long finish.

Cochon Volant rosé 2018: 90 points

… generous amounts of upfront fruit, with some of [the] Corbières’ stoney texture coming through on the palate, which is otherwise smooth and supple, ending on a hint of liquorice.
